What your crew sees on each job

Your crew opens the site on the map and sees the office’s notes and the gate code. They take the photos, tap Complete, and the time and their location are saved with the job. Those records are what I check each week.

  • On the phone app, arrival at a mapped work area can be recorded while the operator is on shift with location tracking enabled. The operator still taps Complete to save the job.
  • Notes from the office show up before they start
  • Photos, quick notes and wet or partly finished sites are recorded with the job

What happens after the 60 days?

If you want to continue from day 61, it’s $695/month + GST including Operations software and the reporting service for the same contract and crew. There’s no separate software bill. You pay month to month, and the price stays the same for your first 12 paid months. After that, you’ll get at least 30 days’ notice of any price change.

Help during the month
I check for missing records each week and let your supervisor know what needs attention. You get a support call of up to 30 minutes each month, and I answer routine messages within two business days.
If you need more help
Another contract or crew, a custom report, substantial data clean-up or extra training will need a separate quote. I’ll agree that with you before doing the work. Your supervisor still manages the crew and makes sure missing records are corrected.
What’s in the report

The jobs, the photos and anything missing

You get a list of the jobs, selected photos and a summary of anything that needs explaining. I check it against the schedule and the reporting requirements we agreed on before I send it to you.

  • Which scheduled jobs have a completion record, and which don’t
  • The location, notes and photos recorded for each job
  • A list of missing visits, photos or other required records
  • PDF reports and a CSV job list you can save and share

Why I built Verdue

I’m Riley. I built Verdue, and I used to work for a vegetation maintenance company. Verdue is for contractors doing grounds and vegetation work on council contracts. Doing the work is one part of the job. Chasing up the photos and pulling the report together is the part that eats your evenings.

That’s the bit I want to take off your plate. For these first 5 contractors, I’ll do the setup with you and put your weekly reports together myself. I want to find out what actually helps on your contract, and what still needs work.

A few things you might want to know

How is Remote Ops different from a software plan?
With a software plan, you set up your sites and prepare your own reports. Remote Ops includes Operations software, setup with me, and weekly reports that I prepare and check. I send your supervisor a list of missing records to follow up. The pilot and ongoing service prices include the software for the agreed contract and crew; you do not pay both prices.
What do I get for $495?
For $495 + GST, I set up Verdue for one contract and one crew, with up to 50 sites. You get 60 days of Operations software, weekly reports that I put together and check, and the support listed above. There is no extra setup fee or separate software subscription. We agree the site list, crew, report format and start date before you pay.
Do I have to keep paying after the 60 days?
No. The pilot does not turn into a subscription automatically. If you want to carry on, it is $695/month + GST including Operations software and the reporting service for the same contract and crew. There is no separate software bill. That price stays the same for your first 12 paid months. You pay month to month. If the price changes after that, you get at least 30 days’ notice and can cancel before the change.
What is included each month if I stay?
Operations software remains included for the agreed contract and crew. Each week, I check the job records, put together your report and send your supervisor a list of anything that needs fixing. You also get a support call of up to 30 minutes each month. I answer routine messages within two business days. Extra contracts, crews, custom reports, substantial data clean-up or extra training need a separate quote.
What if the first report is no good to me?
Tell me within 7 days of receiving it. If it is not something you would hand your council or client, I will refund the full pilot payment, including GST. I do not keep a setup fee. We agree what needs to be in the report before we start. Your supervisor still needs to make sure the crew records the work and fixes any missing information.
When do the 60 days start, and when do I get the reports?
The 60 days start once setup is finished and we have walked your crew through a job successfully. You get a checked report each week, on the day we agree before you pay. Each report covers the work since the previous one. You can keep and export all 60 days of records, including any days after the last weekly report. We talk about whether you want to continue before the pilot ends. If your client also needs a calendar-month report, we agree the format and dates before you pay.
I only have a list of addresses. Is that enough?
Send me what you have. I will look at the mapping work and tell you what is included before you pay. You will need to check the site locations and work areas before the crew starts. Complicated boundaries or gaps in the schedule may need a separate quote.
Does a completed job always count as verified?
No. We agree what each job needs: where the crew should be, which photos to take and any other records your contract requires. If something is missing, it shows in the report. GPS tells you where a record was made. It cannot tell you whether the mowing was done well or whether your council will accept the report.
How do I get the crew using it?
During setup, we check their phones, sort out app or browser access and walk through a test job together. They record the visit, take the photos we have agreed on and mark the job complete. I will explain how they can access Verdue and any limitations before you pay.
Some of our sites have no reception. Will that be a problem?
We need to check that with your phones and the way your crew works before you start. The app and browser do not work the same way without reception. We test saving work and syncing it later, then agree how your crew will use Verdue on those sites.
Can I keep my current system? What if I leave?
Yes. We can try Verdue on one contract while you keep everything else as it is. If you decide to stop, I will help you export your job records as CSV files, your reports as PDFs and your photos before access ends.
Who are you looking to work with?
Queensland contractors doing grounds maintenance, vegetation work, slashing, weed control or bush regeneration. You might work for councils, government, utilities, schools or strata managers. If you are the person chasing photos and putting the client report together, this is the part I want to help with. We will talk through one contract and crew to see whether it suits.
