Getting paid
How does Verdue help with invoicing?
You can send a completion report with your invoice, showing the recorded work, dates and photos. That gives your client something to check and helps you answer questions without searching through separate records.
What if a client disputes that a job was done?
Look up the job’s photos, recorded location, time and operator. You can use those records to explain what happened and see whether anything needs following up.
Does it help with insurance or liability claims?
Job records can help you establish when your crew worked at a site and what they recorded. They can support your response to a claim, but don’t determine who is responsible.
Proof & verification
How is a job reported as verified?
Verdue checks the job record against its proof requirements. The report shows Verified, Partial or Unverified, along with the recorded measurements and any missing evidence. The status describes the record; you still review the work. See how it works.
How is the recorded location checked?
Verdue compares the recorded GPS position with the site location and proof requirements. The report shows the available location measurements so a supervisor can review them. GPS accuracy varies, particularly under trees or near buildings.
What does my client receive?
You can export a PDF completion report and email it to your client. It shows the recorded work and available evidence. They don’t need a Verdue account to read it.
On site
What happens with no reception on site?
The mobile app can save job records and photos while you’re offline. Open your jobs while connected before heading out, then check that saved work has synced when you have reception again.
How long does it add to each job?
It depends on the photos, notes and checks your contract requires. Try it on a few typical jobs during the free trial to see how it fits your crew’s routine.
Does it work for a whole crew, not just me?
Yes. Solo includes three users, each with their own login. Pro supports more operators. Operations adds crew management and location tracking. See plans.
Your data
Who owns the data?
You do. You can export your job reports for your own records or to send to clients. Download the records you need before your subscription ends.
Where is my data stored?
Verdue’s job records are hosted in Australia. See our privacy policy for details about how information is handled.
Plans & setup
Is Remote Ops included in a software plan?
No. With a software plan, you set up your sites and review your own reports. Remote Ops is a separate service that includes Operations software, setup help and weekly reports prepared and checked by Riley for you to review and send to your client. The pilot price and ongoing service price both include the software for your agreed contract and crew. You don’t pay a separate software subscription. See Remote Ops.
Does this replace my job management app?
Verdue covers scheduling, site records and completion reports, with crew management on Operations. Try it on a few sites alongside your current system to see whether it covers what you need.
Do I need a card to start?
No. You can try Verdue for 14 days without a card. You only add billing details if you choose a paid subscription. See pricing.
How long does it take to get going?
Start by adding a site, checking its location and recording a job. Allow more time if you’re importing a site list or setting up a crew. We can help you work out what you’ll need.
